Privacy Policy

Updated June 29, 2026

This policy explains what ApplyLab collects, why, and the control you have over it. We keep it short and in plain language on purpose.

01What we collect

The profile you give us (your name, contact details, headline, resume, skills, and search preferences), plus basic, privacy-conscious usage analytics so the agent can find and score roles for you. We don't buy personal data from data brokers.

02How the agent uses it

Your profile and resume are read by the agent to search, score, and research roles. To do that, the relevant text is sent to Google's Gemini API, which extracts your details, scores each role against your profile, and writes company dossiers. Your data is processed to serve you, and it is never used to train shared AI models.

03Job sources

We query live, public job postings from Adzuna on your behalf. We send only what a search needs (keywords, title, and location), never your resume or contact details, to those sources.

04Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that run ApplyLab, each limited to what its job requires: InsForge (authentication, database, and file storage), Google Gemini (scoring, extraction, and research), Browserbase and Stagehand (automated company research), Adzuna (job search), Resend (delivering your contact messages), and PostHog (privacy-conscious product analytics).

05Your controls

You can view and edit your profile, and download your resume, anytime from your profile page, and everything is scoped to your account. To request a copy of the data we hold, or to delete your account and its data, reach us through our contact page and we'll take care of it.

06Changes and contact

We'll update this policy as the product grows and note the date above when we do. Questions about your data are welcome through our contact page.
